Charter Fishing
Cape Charters is focused on delivering a great boating experience. We include everything needed to target, hook, and clean some of the most exciting and delicious fish in the Gulf. Based in Port St Joe, we enjoy the bounty of the St Joe Bay, near shore State waters and the vast offshore Federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Choose your mission and experience a day to remember on the water!

We offer half and full-day fishing charters and a sunset cruise to the tip of the Cape. All packages include all boat, licensed captain, deck hand (Donna Kaye only), fuel, tackle, bait, a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks. Be sure to dress for the occasion and bring any additional drinks or food you would like to have for the trip.

We will be in contact several times prior to departure to make sure your expectations are aligned with our abilities. Remember, we cannot control the weather nor the fish! There are plenty of days the seas do not cooperate, and we will not go offshore. If your time in the area is limited, we may be able to offer an in-shore alternative to get you out on the water. We will never compromise the safety of our guests, crew, or equipment.
Port St Joe
Port St Joe is in the Florida Panhandle approximately 40 miles southeast of Panama City. It has a rich fishing history with a unique small-town culture. Once the western front of the Forgotten Coast, it now boasts booming hospitality, entertainment and of course, an amazing charter fishing business. With only ~3,800 residents and over 240 miles of white sand shoreline, guests are most often impressed by the open spaces and low density. Great places to stay, plenty of dining options and the finest sunsets on the gulf coast round out the experience.

Bring your family and enjoy plenty of beach time. Do not leave without spending a day or two on the water. St Joe Bay is spectacular and if you’ve never fished offshore, you simply must try it. There is something for everyone and Port St Joe will surely become your annual go-to for sand, salt, and fishing!
The Crew
Captain Chase is a US Coast Guard licensed captain. He grew up on the water in Port St Joe. When he is not fishing, he is preparing to fish! He learned to fish before he learned to walk! You will not find a more passionate or enthusiastic captain in the panhandle!
